Rani kills her husband Dhananjay and gets rid of his corpse, with the help of her lover Vicky and Driver Tiwari. Sub-inspector Ajay is appointed to handle Dhananjay's case, and Rani flirts with him.

Ajay interrogates Dhananjay's business partner and Vicky's father Patwardhan. Dhananjay's sister Meera accuses Rani in front of Ajay of making Dhananjay disappear. Rani misleads Dhananjay.

Rani saves Tiwari from the police with her strategy. Ajay goes to his lover Neha's house and meets Rani on the way. Later, Rani lies to Ajay and calls him home to spend time with him.

Rani tells Ajay about Patwardhan and Dhananjay’s altercation. Later, Vicky’s lies make Ajay suspicious that something is wrong. Thereafter, Rani tries to lay accusations on Meera and calls Ajay home.

Rani gives Ajay some evidence against Meera. Ajay asks his junior to plant a mole who follows Tiwari. Later, Ajay interrogates Meera at the police station. Patwardhan talks to Rani about business.

Ajay calls Rani to the police station and interrogates her. Waghmare, a politician, argues with Ajay, but Rani ends their fight. Later, Ajay meets Neha. Rani asks Patwardhan to testify against Meera.

Meera urges Gayatri, Dhannjay's first wife, to tell the truth to the police. The police find a dead body, and Ajay summons Rani to identify it. Ajay interrogates Gayatri, and Vicky observes this.

With the help of Ajay's mother, Neha plans a surprise birthday party for him. Gayatri and Meera ask Patwardhan to gather evidence against Rani. Meanwhile, Rani sends an expensive gift for Ajay.

Vicky's goons try to attack Ajay. Rani informs Patwardhan about it, and Vicky threatens to expose Rani. Later, Vicky asks Ajay to meet him.

Patwardhan tries to stop Vicky from going to meet Ajay. Meanwhile, Ajay bumps into Rani, and she lies to him. Vicky dies when Rani's henchman hits him with a truck. Later, Ajay receives a call.

Ajay is under pressure to solve the case and suspects that Vicky has been murdered. Rani goes to Vicky's condolence gathering. Later, Neha tells Ajay that her mother is against them getting married.

Rani reaches the office and finds Dhananjay’s will. Furthermore, she is delighted to see her name in it and informs Ajay about it. Later, Rani blames Gayatri’s brothers for Dhananjay's disappearance.

The police find a corpse and it is confirmed to be of Dhananjay. Rani pretends to cry after Ajay informs her. Dhananjay's death saddens Gayatri. Rani holds a condolence gathering for Dhananjay.

Rani asks Patwardhan to sell the company but he refuses. Neha's mother prohibits Ajay from meeting Neha till they get married. Patwardhan informs Rani that Dhananjay was poisoned and killed.

Rani accuses Gayatri and Patwardhan of conspiring against her and threatens to get them arrested under the charges of Dhananjay's murder. She faces Ajay in regards to the case. Patwardhan gets killed.

Ajay suspects that Patwardhan and Dhananjay have been killed with the same poison. Rani organises a prayer meet for Patwardhan. Ajay comes to Rani's house with the police to take her fingerprints.

Gayatri arrives with her brothers, Arun and Suresh, and they tell Ajay the truth. Waghmare arrives at the police station and warns Ajay to solve the case. Rani decides to sell Dhannjay's company.

Ajay informs Rani about the anonymous caller, but she doesn't react. Rani hugs her servant Sharad, and it is revealed that Sharad is the anonymous caller. Later, Sharad threatens to harm Ajay.

Rani calls Neha to meet her and shares her grief. Later, she tells Waghmare's recruit Ranjeet to ask for Neha's hand in marriage. Rani overhears Sangeeta and Meera and calls Ajay home.

Ranjit meets Neha and her parents and agrees to the marriage. Ajay visits Rani's house and Rani blames Sangeeta. Later, the police arrest Sangeeta and interrogate her.

Ajay tells Neha's mother that he will marry only Neha. Rani pretends to be worried about Sangeeta and summons her home from the police station. Ajay's juniors inform him about Sangeeta's statement.

Neha's parents are shocked when Ajay tells them Ranjit's truth. Ranjit informs Rani that Ajay has learned his truth. Later, Rani comes to the police station and Ajay questions her about Ranjit.

Ajay asks Waghmare to send Ranjeet to the police station. Meera decides to foil Rani's plan. Rani asks Sharad to burn their wedding photo. Later, Neha seeks her mother's permission to marry Ajay.

Neha's mother talks to Ajay's mother about their engagement. Rani learns that she will get money from Dhananjay's policy. Waghmare arranges Tawde's transfer and sends Mohite to the police station.

Rani talks to Waghmare about selling Dhananjay's company. Neha tells Ajay about Ranjeet's threat. At the police station, Mohite interrogates a constable about Ajay. Later, Rani traps Ajay.
