The Tale of Satyavan-Savitri Begins
Lord Bhramha starts recounting the tale of Satyavan and Savitri to Yama. The king, Dhrimtsen and his pregnant wife dream about their child. However, Dhrimtsen's brother Ugrasen plots to kill them.
The Queen Gives Birth to Satyavan
An attack by Ugrasen shocks Dhrimtsen. After fleeing from the palace, the queen gives birth to Satyavan in a hut. Leaving Satyavan with the 'Panchtatvas', Dhrimtsen makes a statement about his future.

Satyavan's disappearance worries Dhrimtsen and Aau. Dakshasena hypnotises Ashwapati when he sets out to search for Savitri. Aau finds Savitri in the forest while searching for Satyavan.
Ashwapati Worries about Savitri
Dhrimtsen informs everyone that Savitri is a princess. After the charm breaks, Ashwapati panics thinking about Savitri. Renuka orders a death sentence for Nirmala. Vishwambhatt mocks Nirmala.
Durkya Chases Savitri Out of the Hut
Assuming Savitri to be Satyavan, Durkya chases her out of the hut. Ashwapati senses Savitri and makes a decision. Dumatsyen and others worry about Savitri. Ashwapati asks the goddess for a sign.
Ashwapati Takes an Oath
Satvai's prediction scares Durakya. The Goddess's hint delights Ashwapati. While Nirmala is about to be hanged, Ashwapati arrives there with Savitri. Ashwapati then takes an oath and gives an order.
Savitri Enquires about Renuka
Ashwapati strives hard to fulfil Savitri's wish on her 9th birthday. Satyavan stops Jambhalya and Karavandya from leaving the forest because of King Shalva. Savitri asks Ashwapati about Renuka.
Ashwapati Reasons with Savitri
Satyavan consoles Mayo and stops her from leaving the forest. Aau scolds him when he contemplates crossing the wall built by Shalva. Ashwapati reasons with Savitri, who insists on going to the forest.
Savitri Heads to the Forest
Satyavan prepares a tool and comes up with an idea to demolish the wall. Meanwhile, Savitri gets bored during the entertainment show. She then dons a disguise and heads to the forest with Surungi.
Satyavan and Savitri Take a Decision
Evading the security at the palace, Savitri reaches at the wall, while Satyavan too comes there. Worried about Satyavan, Aau faints. Later, Satyavan and Savitri decide to demolish it.
