Rajarajeshwari is delighted when Chinna names his child Karthik. The media interviews Karthik when he receives best entrepreneur award. Vanathi offers special prayers for Chandran and Purani.

Amutha is pleased with the astrologer’s prediction for Aarti. Rajarajeshwari shows Karthik pictures of girls and tells him to pick a bride. Amutha is glad when Aarti gets a marriage proposal.

Rajarajeshwari asks Karthik to meet Aarti, but he refuses. Vanathi’s friend criticises Amutha. Later, Karthik inquires about Aarti to Swetha and Jeeva.

Rajarajeshwari talks to her husband about meeting Aarti and shares a plan with him. Later, Vanathi helps Rajarajeshwari when she finds it difficult to perform the ‘Adipradakshinam’.

Amutha reprimands Vanathi for bringing Rajarajeshwari home. She discovers the truth when Rajarajeshwari, accompanied by the astrologer, visits her. Rajarajeshwari brings an alliance for Vanathi.

Sundaram is astonished when Rajarajeshwari brings a marriage proposal for Vanathi. Sundaram makes a request to Subramaniam to hide the truth from Amutha. Rajarajeshwari gifts a phone to Vanathi.

Karthik regrets marrying Vanathi, a simple girl chosen by his mother, Raja Rajeshwari. But, Raja Rajeshwari is determined to prove that Vanathi is a good woman and the right choice for her son.

Karthik is unable to stop admiring Aarti's photo brought by Jeeva. Sundaram scolds Amutha for eyeing Vanathi's jewellery for Aarti's wedding. Jeeva asks Karthik to meet Aarti.

Subramaniam warns Amutha, following which, she helps the beggar who comes home. Aarti acts like a stranger when Karthik tries to talk to her. Having a plan in mind, Jeeva brings Karthik to the temple.

Vanathi recalls the priest’s statement when she meets Karthik. Later, Karthik offers a lift to Amutha, but she pretends to not recognise him. Amutha, with a plan to impress Karthik, takes him home.

Vanathi visits the temple with a desire to meet Karthik. Karthik arrives at the temple and gives a gift to Vanathi. Later, Vanathi and Karthik speak to Rajarajeshwari separately.

Aarti informs Amutha about Vanathi speaking to Karthik. Amutha argues with Sundaram on learning about it. Aarti and Amutha stage an act when Karthik reveals his identity.

Vanathi gets upset when Karthik fails to meet her at the temple. Karthik is in a fix when Rajarajeshwari questions him about his trip to Coimbatore. Later, Karthik talks to Aarti on the phone.

Aarti frowns to see Vanathi’s name on the saris sent by Rajarajeshwari. Mani cleverly convinces Amutha into giving the sari to Vanathi. Jeeva introduces Manasa, his girlfriend, to Karthik.

Aarti gets angry with Karthik, who disturbs her while talking on the phone. Rajarajeshwari decides to conduct a simple engagement for Karthik. Sundaram panics when Amutha decides to visit Karthik.

Aarti’s visit delights Karthik. Sundaram is taken aback when Amutha asks Vanathi to accompany them to Karthik’s house. Mani convinces Amutha to behave lovingly with Vanathi in front of Rajarajeshwari.

Rajarajeshwari is astonished when Amutha claims to know Jeeva. Rajarajeshwari then talks to Vanathi about the turbulences she faced in her life. Later, Vanathi fails to notice Karthik.

Karthik shares his grief with Aarti over the phone. Amutha scolds and taunts Vanathi as she tries to apply face pack for Aarti. Sundaram panics when Amutha and Aarti decide to visit Rajarajeshwari.

Sundaram stops Amutha from seeing the wedding invitation. Vanathi brings food for Rajarajeshwari but fails to notice Karthik. Later, Karthik and Aarti meet at the temple.

Rajarajeshwari’s husband is surprised and questions Sundaram when Amutha addresses Aarti as his daughter-in-law. However, Rajarajeshwari's husband does not tell her about the incident.

Aarti mocks Vanathi. Rajarajeshwari places the flowers on Vanathi's hair. Karthik watches in disbelief as Rajarajeshwari makes Vanathi sit next to him at the engagement ceremony.

Sundaram scolds Amutha as she curses Vanathi for getting engaged to Karthik. Aarti feels Sundaram has supported Vanathi and misunderstands her. The truth revealed by Amutha shocks Rajarajeshwari.

Rajarajeshwari is left speechless upon hearing Amutha's request. Amutha gets upset when Karthik agrees to marry Vanathi. Sundaram, who is looking for a missing Amutha, learns a fact.
