A few women go to Kanakaratnam’s house and tattle about her extreme miserliness. Lakkamamba’s aunt arrives at the house. Kanakaratnam’s second son, Govind, proposes to a girl and gets rejected.

Kanakaratnam crams her family members into a car. When the car ends up hitting Geetha’s cycle, Kanakaratnam is compelled to compensate her. Kanakaratnam’s sons accidentally go to Natarajan’s house.

Kanakaratnam’s sons realise that they’ve come to the wrong address. Purnima gets annoyed when the suitor’s family arrives. Kanakaratnam’s family meets Govind’s prospective bride, Anandi’s family.

On Purnima’s suggestion, the suitor agrees to marry Geetha, which angers Natarajan. Govind scares Anandi and makes her cancel the marriage alliance. Later, a furious Kanakaratnam confronts Govind.

As Geetha’s family members feel dejected, Geetha feeds them, and Natarajan gets emotional. Govind tells his brothers that he loves Geetha and will marry her, while Geetha decides to never get married.

Kanakaratnam lies to Govind and takes him out to see a girl. When Govind chases a debtor, he spots Geetha in a bus and follows her. When he asks her for her name, she tricks him and escapes.

When Kanakaratnam goes to a mart with Govind and Syamala, they see Geetha there. While Govind hides, Kanakaratnam has an argument with Geetha. Later, Geetha gets Syamala caught while stealing.

Govind follows Geetha to know her address. Kanakaratnam starves herself and vows revenge on Geetha. Selvi and her daughters are hired to work at a wedding. Tirupati brings flowers for Lakka.

Govind and Balaji disguise themselves to go to Natarajan’s house. Malavika visits Selvi and Natarajan to discuss about Purnima’s marriage. Govind and Balaji arrive there and hide from Malavika.

Govind and Balaji try to catch glimpses of Geetha and Purnima. Ekambaram and Syamala consume laxative pills and suffer from diarrhoea. Tirupati’s brothers tell him that they love Geetha and Purnima.

When Paati suddenly collapses, her family members rush her to the hospital. The doctor tells Natarajan to arrange money for the surgery. Narasimha asks Kanakaratnam to get Govind married to Kalyani.

Selvi admires Natarajan, who lies to Paati about the money. Later, Selvi and her daughters go to the wedding to work. When Kanakaratnam’s family attends the wedding, she clashes again with Geetha.

Govind and Balaji stare at Geetha and Purnima, who run away when they ask them for their names. When Govind catches Geetha, she lies about her name. Later, Kanakaratnam has a clash with Selvi.

Seeing Geetha and Purnima serve the food, Govind and Balaji eat a lot. During the ‘mehendi’ function, Govind and Balaji decide to impress the girls with their singing.

Govind and Balaji plan to confess their love to the girls. Geetha ignores Govind when he confesses his feelings to her. On the other hand, Purnima escapes when Balaji tries to talk to her.

When the electricity goes off, Geetha accidentally kisses Govind’s cheek. Later, Selvi and Geetha convince Purnima to meet a prospective groom. Balaji questions a dazed Govind.

Narasimha suggests Kanakaratnam that they change their business. Selvi and her daughters talk to Natarajan and Paati on a video-call. Later, Geetha tries to return the chain to Govind.

Kanakaratnam slaps Selvi when she accidentally clashes with her and drops turmeric on her sari. Geetha wears an uncomfortable costume to earn some money. Srilakshmi gets wrongly accused of theft.

Balaji gets sad on learning that Purnima’s family has found a match for her. The wedding gets halted as the bride’s family loses the bag having the dowry money, and are unaware that Syamala stole it.

Kanakaratnam gets angry on learning that Govind lost his chain. Selvi and her daughters return home and tell their family about the wedding. Later, Balaji tells his brothers why he’s upset.

Selvi worries about the wedding expenses. Malavika arrives and tells the family how Purnima ruined her marriage matches. Natarajan slaps Purnima. Syamala tells Kanakaratnam that Balaji loves someone.

Geetha tells her parents why she doesn’t wish to get married, leaving them emotional. While Malavika finds more matches for Govind, he says that he isn’t ready for the wedding.

To help Geetha financially, Govind and Balaji go to her house again in disguise. Balaji secretly gives a love letter to Purnima. Geetha meets Govind and confronts him for leaving money in her house.

Kanakaratnam announces that she is the new owner of Malavika’s company. She later orders her family members to start working at the office. Meanwhile, Purnima decides to quit her job.

Govind compels Geetha to call him at night. Kanakaratnam notices Balaji and tells Syamala that they must find the girl whom Balaji loves. The next day, Geetha and Purnima head out to get a job.
