Kundan Agarwal explains the importance of business to his sons Varun and Manish. He spots Genda at a function dedicated to Maharaj Agrasen and likes her for his son. Later, Varun gets a stroke.

Kundan tells his wife Anuradha about Genda. The doctor warns Varun that he shouldn’t get married due to his illness. Genda meets Kundan and later bumps into Varun.

Varun keeps his family in the dark about the doctor’s warning. He goes to the temple with his uncle Gopal and his sons and meets Genda there. Genda rejects Varun’s alliance once she returns home.

Kundan learns that Genda has turned down the marriage proposal and considers it as an insult. Varun apologises to Genda. She later feels that she has made a mistake by turning down the proposal.

Genda gets a sign in her dream and goes to Kundan to apologise. Kundan forgives her, and she agrees to get married to Varun. Meanwhile, Varun vows to keep Genda enslaved forever.

Genda’s mother gives her a special sari. However, Kundan and Anuradha give Genda another sari for the ritual. Genda gets upset when her mother asks her to wear the sari given by Anuradha.

Varun asks Genda to wear the sari given by Anuradha. He takes his medicines before leaving for the temple. When her sari catches fire, Genda wears the sari given by her mother which infuriates Varun.

Genda tries to tell Varun the truth about the sari but he faints and fails to hear her out. Kundan chooses the date and time for the wedding. Meanwhile, Genda apologises to Varun.

Genda’s mother goes to sell jewellery and the goldsmith turns out to be Kundan’s friend. Kundan decides to buy another shop. Genda goes to a restaurant with her friends while Varun too arrives there.

Jindal tells Kundan that Genda’s mother Santosh had arrived to sell her jewellery. Kundan gets furious with her for it and gives her an ancestral necklace for Genda. However, this leaves Genda upset.

Varun’s ‘haldi’ ceremony takes place. Genda is reluctant to wear the jewellery given by Kundan and claim it as hers. Maharaj Agrasen imparts a lesson in her dream and she goes to return the jewellery.

Genda promises Kundan that she will not let anything tarnish his reputation. Later, she gets worried when she is unable to arrange the money for her jewellery. Varun asks Genda to meet him at a café.

Genda returns home when Santosh gets ill. Kundan goes to collect money from a man but doesn’t receive the full amount. The goldsmith decides to trick Genda by giving her a fake necklace.

Kundan learns that the banquet hall has been booked by somebody else. Santosh panics when she learns about it. Both the families get worried when they are unable to find another banquet hall.

Kundan agrees to organise the wedding at the temple. The goldsmith’s workers give fake jewellery to Genda. Varun reaches the temple with his family. Nisha is left shocked on seeing Genda’s jewellery.

Nisha presumes that Genda’s jewellery is fake and tells Varun about the same. Agrasen Maharaj attends the wedding in the form of a saint. Later, Varun and Genda perform a wedding ritual.

Varun tells Kundan that Genda's jewellery is fake and refuses to marry. Nisha takes Genda's bracelet and Kundan gets Manish to check it. Meanwhile, Varun convinces Kundan to perform the rituals again.

Manish calls Kundan and tells him that the jewellery is genuine. It is revealed that Agrasen Maharaj has helped Genda. Varun and Genda get married. Genda performs 'Griha Pravesh' at the Agarwal House.

The Agrawals learn the truth about Genda’s jewellery. Genda apologises to Kundan. Through Nisha, Kundan gifts an ostentatious necklace to Genda. Nisha decides to take revenge from Genda.

Varun resolves to always be by Genda’s side. Manish asks Nisha to forget whatever happened in the past. Kundan informs Anuradha about Ammaji visiting them. Meanwhile, Nisha vows to exact revenge.

Anuradha explains the importance of Ammaji visiting their home to Genda. Nisha gives an advice to Genda in order to exact revenge. Ammaji arrives home and everybody comes to meet her.

Genda serves the food meant for Ammaji and Nisha makes alterations to it. Ammaji gets furious when she finds a few faults in the food. Kundan and Anuradha fall at her feet and beg for forgiveness.

Genda admits her mistake and tells Ammaji that she will atone for it. Ammaji tells her about a difficult fast and asks Varun to do it as well. Later, Varun gets furious with Genda.

The doctor asks Varun to not have his medicines on an empty stomach. Varun continues to be upset with Genda and takes his medicine when he feels unwell. Nisha finds Varun unconscious in his room.

Varun’s doctor gives a piece of information to Manish. Genda goes to the temple despite Kundan asking her not to. A miracle at home leaves Kundan and his family stunned.
