Movie Teen Patti Plot

The story begins when Venkat Subramaniam (Amitabh Bachchan), receives a letter from a Great English mathematician  Perci Trachtenberg (Ben Kingsley) who is highly regarded as the world’s greatest mathematician. Venkat is an Indian Professor of mathematics, software engineering and a genius. Perci Trachtenberg invites Venkat to a casino in London where Venkat explains the theory that redefined the principles and formula of randomness and probability. He experimented with this formula on the Teen Patti game on the computer. His formula predicts the other cards of other players and guesses the winner most accurately.

Ventak demonstrates these experiments on three students with the help of a younger professor by name Shantanu Biswas (R. Madhavan).  Shantanu brings  Sid (Siddharth Kher) , Aparna or Apu (Shraddha Kapoor) and Vikram or Vikku (Dhruv Ganesh). Aparna is studious and had a crush on Sid who is a college rockstar. After the experiment as like the last time probability theory was successful. He thinks that after a few more games he'll be able to crack his equation more accurately. Shantanu gives an idea to try this theory in the real world, I.e actual gamble and play Teen Patti. But Ventak was not money minded and he did not care about it much. He wanted to demonstrate this experiment only to show his institution where he works and also who rejected his theory when he first submitted.

Later a new student called  Abbas (Vaibhav Talwar), a rich kid takes this to another level and adds this into casinos ,private clubs ,etc. In the end neither Venkat nor Shantanu could control it.

Performance of the Teen Patti Cast

As always Amithabh Bachchan does stunts in the movie. This movie is debut for Shraddha Kapoor so her acting is decent. It is also important to note that Teen Patti is inspired by the English movie 21. Amitabh Bachchan's motivating message is unmissable .Amithabh  Bachchan and madhavan combination of these two actors takes the movie to the next level. Ajay Devgn and shraddha kapoor scenes adds liveliness to the movie.on paper it the best psychological movie of that time.
