Pazhani Movie Plot

Pazhani is a single father to his three children Raju, Muthu, and Venu and also looks after an orphan girl named Kaveri. Pazhani strongly believes in non-violence and successfully mediates whenever there is a quarrel in the village. Chokkalingam owns the land that Pazhani tills to eke out his livelihood and is the most wicked person in the village, always involved in immoral and illegal activities. He once tries to molest a girl named Emily, but Muthu intervenes and beats him up. This hurts Chokkalingam’s pride and he plans to wreak havoc on Pazhani’s family. 

Meanwhile, Pazhani unearths a treasure in the land and hands it over to Chokkalingam since he is the owner. But Chokkalingam has other plans and he brings in the police, who seize the treasure. Further, he decides to sell the land leased to Pazhani, the only source of income for the poor farmer. Will Pahzani get the land back without losing his calm temperament even once? Or will his family be pushed deeper into poverty?
