The crime-based movie Jayasurya is about the dark side of Madurai city. Jayaseelan is appointed as the city’s ACP to control the increasing crime rate. He gets attracted to a beautiful girl named Soumya and they both fall in love with each other. Soumya’s father is a top business tycoon who gets killed by a gang that is working for a politician. Jayaseelan begins a massive hunt for the gang members and the leader but is surprised when the leader tells him he is not the mastermind, more so when he comes to know that the person is someone he knows quite well.
