Jaganmohini Movie Plot

Jaganmohini' is a romance movie mixed with a battle between good and evil. The story begins in Pachai Theevu, which is ruled by a powerful monarch (Narasimha Raju). His son, Prince Jagathalapradhapan (Raja), is a brave young man who embarks on a mission to capture pirates at sea. He arrives in Sangu Theevu, the home of Alai Kallan, the leader of the sea pirates. Jagathalapradhapan meets Mohini (Namitha), a member of the island's local fishing community.

They develop a romantic relationship. Jagathalapradhapan captures Alai Kallan and resolves to return to his homeland. He promises Mohini that he will bring his parents to help with the wedding arrangements. The king and his wife Mangayarkarasi (Yuvarani) plan for their son to marry a princess Azhagu Nachiyar (Nila). Jagathalapradhapan works hard to persuade his parents that he will only marry Mohini. To solve the situation, the monarch and his wife devise a plot to murder Mohini. Enter a wicked tantrik (Kota Sreenivasa Rao) who aims to leverage the hostility between Jagathalapradhapan and Alai Kallan to murder Jagathalapradhapan and get ultimate power to control the world. But all changes when Mohini's spirit returns to earth. Eventually, it comes down to a battle between the good and the bad. The rest of the plot reveals Mohini's mystery and why she sought to end the marriage.
