Plot of Chiranjeevi: To hell and back
Kaali is a hard working, neighbourhood goon who spends all his money on needy people. The entire town loves him for his selflessness. His employer, Kotayya, has a rivalry with Gollapudi. Kaali meets Radha, Gollapudi’s daughter, and falls in love. But Gollapudi gets him killed and Kaali lands up in Yama’s realm.
Here, he tells Yama that he had been cheated of his life and persuades the god to send him back to Earth. Yama sends Kaali back, but he is forced to enter Balu’s body. With his newfound life, Kaali goes about setting right all the wrongs that had been committed upon Balu. He also begins to remember his earlier life as Kaali. The movie seeks to highlight the importance of selfless love.
