Aatish is an action movie showing the story of a wealthy family. The Rais are a family living in Jammu including head Mr. Rai, his wife Shobha, eldest son Rakesh, their daughter, Ashu and Raju, their school-going youngest child. Rakesh is after his father’s property and so awaits his death. One day, when Mr. Rai is attacked on the road for the load of cash that he was carrying, he is rescued by Anand. Gradually, he gains the trust of the whole family but everything in the drama movie is not like how it seems.

The plot of the Hindi movie revolves around Mr. Rai and his family. A family of five, they have more than a comfortable lifestyle. However, the relations between the head of the family and Rakesh, his eldest child are not good. He looks forward to the death of his father so that he, having inherited the wealth, can spend it all in cheerfulness. Once, while Mr. Rai is attacked while traveling with a loaded suitcase full of money, Anand, a young man, saves him and is instantly in the wealthy businessman’s good books. Over time, the young man makes his way into the family and even the business. He is liked and favoured by everyone except Rakesh, who is constantly troubling Anand.
