Devaki sneaks out of the palace to meet her lover, Vasudeva. Elsewhere, Yashoda stops Kamsa's general Bhadraksha from hurting the children, who ate the curd which was to be given to King Kamsa. Later, on Devaki's request, Kamsa agrees to let her marry Vasudeva. Ugrasena does Devaki's 'kanyadaan'.

On hearing the divine prediction, Kamsa tries to kill Devaki. A battle ensues between Kamsa and Vasudeva. Yashoda worries when the children refuse to eat butter. Mata Purneshwari is surprised on seeing Vrishabhanu and Nandgopana's children's horoscopes. Mata Purneshwari names Vrishabhanu's daughter, Radha and Nandgopana's son, Krishna. On Kamsa's order, when Putani kills few children, the residents of Gokul attack her. Later, Devaki takes a drastic step.
