Seetha dresses up as a goddess for the festival at the temple. When her scooter breaks down, Ram gives her a lift. Meanwhile, Saradhi kidnaps Mahalakshmi's potential daughter-in-law to blackmail her.

Ram helps a pregnant woman at the temple. Mahalakshmi sees Madhumitha and decides to get her married to Ram, who starts to like Madhumitha. Later, Ram puts a garland around Seetha’s neck.

Ram and Mahalakshmi realise that they both chose the same girl. Seetha tells Madhumitha that she walked on burning coals for her. Mahalakshmi’s family goes to the police station to meet Sivakrishna.

Sivakrishna’s family gets excited about Mahalakshmi’s family visiting their house. At the temple, Madhumitha condemns Surya as he makes arrangements for them to get married.

While Surya tries to persuade Madhumitha to marry him, Seetha arrives at the temple to take her home. Madhumitha gets shocked on learning that Ram’s family has come to fix their marriage alliance.

Madhumitha insists on speaking with Ram in private. Ram mistakes Seetha for Madhumitha and realises that she is the girl he met before. Later, Ram misunderstands that Madhumitha wants to marry him.

Ram and Madhumitha’s families get them engaged and fix their wedding. Later, Mahalakshmi invites a few journalists home to announce the wedding. She also sends organic products for Madhumitha.

After the function, Seetha and the family members panic as Madhumitha is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Madhumitha goes to Ram’s house and tells him that she does not want to marry him.

Sivakrishna and the family members feel worried about Madhumitha’s disappearance. Later, Ram arrives with Madhumitha and Surya and reveals that they both love each other.

Sivakrishna gets furious over Madhumitha marrying Surya. Lalitha and Sivakrishna break ties with Madhumitha and throw her out of the house. Later, Ram’s uncle blames him for the situation.

Ram’s uncle convinces him to marry Seetha for the sake of protecting Mahalakshmi’s honour. Seetha gets shocked when they talk to Sivakrishna. As she refuses, Sivakrishna requests her to marry Ram.

Chalapathy makes Mahalakshmi’s family return home while Ram gets married to Seetha. Jalaja scolds Surya as he comes home with Madhumitha. Mahalakshmi’s family prepares to welcome Ram and his wife.

Mahalakshmi is shocked to know that Ram married Seetha. She refuses to accept Seetha as her daughter-in-law and throws her out of the house. Seetha worries about her parents knowing the truth.

Mahalakshmi cancels Ram’s reception and lashes out at Chalapathy. She reveals that it was Seetha who slapped her at the beauty contest and humiliated her. Seetha explains to Revathi why she did it.

Mahalakshmi calls Sivakrishna and tells him that she won’t let Seetha enter her house. Revathi convinces Ram to talk to Seetha, but Mahalakshmi stops him. Seetha’s family gets worried and calls her.

Seetha asks her parents not to come to Mahalakshmi’s house for her. Madhumitha contacts her parents but they get angry at her. Ram feels guilty about Seetha tolerating punishment for his mistake.

Ram asks Seetha to go back to her maternal home, but she refuses to leave his side and stubbornly enters Mahalakshmi’s house. Meanwhile, Jalaja scolds Madhumitha and criticises her.

As Seetha performs a puja at home, a furious Mahalakshmi brings out her rifle to shoot her. Seetha takes the rife from Mahalakshmi and intimidates her by shooting an apple on Chalapathy's head.

Seetha talks to Madhumitha over the phone. When Madhumitha visits her maternal house, Sivakrishna turns furious and considers her dead. Seetha asks Revathi about Ram and Mahalakshmi’s relation.

Seetha learns that Mahalakshmi is Ram’s step-mother and about his mother’s mysterious death. During breakfast, Mahalakshmi gets irked as Seetha comes to the dining table. Seetha’s reaction shocks her.

As Seetha ignores everyone and stubbornly eats breakfast, her attitude worries Mahalakshmi. Later, Mahalakshmi tells Ram to sleep in Chalapathy’s room to keep him away from Seetha.

Seetha shocks Mahalakshmi and Janardhan by coming to sleep in their bedroom. To teach Mahalakshmi a lesson, Seetha sneaks into Chalapathy’s room to sleep beside Ram and keeps the keys with her.

After troubling Ram, Seetha finally lets him out of the room. The next day, Mahalakshmi threatens Rajyam to contact Sivakrishna and lie to him about Seetha’s situation. Rajyam tells Seetha about it.

Seetha prepares to return to her maternal home with her parents and gets angry at Ram as she bids goodbye. Archana stalls Seetha’s family until Mahalakshmi comes to talk to them.

Seetha’s parents apologise to Mahalakshmi and try to take Seetha with them. As Mahalakshmi insults them, Seetha gets angry and refuses to leave her house. Mahalakshmi feels dishonoured and storms out.
