Radha warns her indifferent mother Mandira that someday a person will teach her a lesson. Soon, Radha and Mohan run into a medical student, Shakti. Mandira decides to get her nephew Shiv married.

Shiv's chain floats in the river Ganga and falls around Shakti's neck. Mandira gets upset when Shakti asks her to queue up while entering the temple. Shakti rushes to save a child and runs into Shiv.

After Shiv and his cousin Keertan's refusal, Shakti operates on a child at a temple. Mandira twists her elder sister-in-law Padma's hand. They see Shakti at their hospital and decide to punish her.

Mandira lies to the press that Keertan had treated the child. Later, Mandira challenges Shakti that she will never become a doctor and insults her. Shakti decides to confront her, but runs into Shiv.

Shiv tells his father Raghunath that Keertan did not treat the child. Shakti is upset over Manorama's decision to get her married. To Shiv's dismay, his grandmother tells him about a match for him.

Shiv and Shakti's late-night online food orders get exchanged. Gayatri enters Shiv's room with kheer for him. However, Padma informs Raghunath, who scolds Gayatri and asks her to keep away from Shiv.

The paper given by Shiv helps Shakti in her dream to become a doctor. Keertan looks for Shakti at the 'ghat'. At Mandira's behest, Shiv asks the family of a suitress to let them talk in private.

Keertan mistakes Rimjhim for Shakti and professes his feelings to her. Raghunath scolds Shiv when a suitress refuses to marry him because of his confession. Rimjhim and Shakti enter the Kashyap Sadan.

Keertan tells his sister Koyal about his feelings for Shakti. Shakti arrives at the Kashyap Sadan and runs into Gayatri. Mandira asks Shakti to touch her feet in exchange for signing her application.

Koyal tries to prove Rimjhim to be a fake influencer. Shakti reminds Mandira of her misdeeds and refuses to take her approval on her scholarship application. Shiv's approach gives Gayatri a new hope.

Mandira asks Shakti to leave when Rimjhim comes running there after being insulted by Koyal. Nandu stops them and helps Shakti enter Shiv's room. Mandira sees Shakti in Shiv's arms due to an incident.

A politician threatens to expose Mandira. Keertan meets Shakti and feels that she has come to profess her love. Shiv learns that Shakti had come home for his approval and soon signs her application.

Mandira introduces Shiv to Nidhi, the daughter of her political ally, Pandeyji. Unaware of Mandira's approval for Nidhi, Shiv approves Shakti's application. Later, Mandira's comment misleads Shakti.

Mandira threatens Shakti. Dharam chases Keertan to beat him for coming to his house. Soon, Koyal slaps Dharam for this. Meanwhile, Shiv selects Shakti for the admission interview.

After an argument with Mandira, Shakti questions Shiv's credibility. Nandu lashes out at Shakti for this and informs Gayatri, who sees the positive side. Later, an interview call delights Shakti.

Pandeyji threatens Mandira with consequences if Nidhi is not selected. Shakti fulfils Manorama's condition and the Sharmas firmly support Shakti. Shiv meets Shakti, and his decision shocks Mandira.

Manorama fails to know the name of Rimjhim's lover from her. Mandira locks Shakti in a room to help Nidhi get selected for the interview. Shiv feels restless when he does not see Shakti around.

Shakti prays to Lord Shiva for help to get out of the room and faints. Shiv feels like someone called him and starts looking for Shakti in the hospital. Manorama worries as Rimjhim talks to Keertan.

Shiv breaks the door and tries to revive Shakti, who falls unconscious. Shakti refuses to give the interview, but Shiv motivates her. Mandira takes Nidhi for the interview.

Shiv saves Shakti's life and empowers her to attend her interview. Mandira decides to teach Shiv and Shakti a lesson after Pandeyji warns to expose her. Manorama calls a suitor's family for Rimjhim.

Rimhim agrees to meet a suitor when Manorama pretends to attempt suicide. An interviewer grills Shakti, but she manages to impress the panel. Shakti and Shiv start realising their connection.

Shakti cuddles Shiv to thank him for his help, but he pushes her away and leaves. Mandira decides to malign Shakti to stop her from getting the admission. The suitor for Rimjhim falls for Shakti.

Manorama notices a suitor for Rimjhim falling for Shakti. Raghunath slaps Shiv and pushes Gayatri on the floor at Mandira's instigation. However, Shiv stands by his decision and defends Gayatri.

Manorama asks Shakti for a favour. Raghunath and Mandira question Shiv's decision of granting Shakti the scholarship but Shiv stands firm by his decision. At Gayatri's request, Bhagwati defends Shiv.

Raghunath decides to get Shiv ousted from his position. Bhagwati reminds him that Shiv's life partner will end his difficulties. The next day, Raghunath sees Shiv and Shakti's photo in a newspaper.
