Padma's husband, Gopal, leaves her and his three daughters years back and weds Rajeshwari. Padma runs a restaurant with her daughters. Her other daughter, Sneha, protects her honour.

Rajeshwari envies the felicitation Padma receives at the temple festival. Padma and Sneha argue over Sahana's wedding. Bhagwati's son, Kanti, is impressed by Sneha upon noticing her in the market.

Rajeshwari plans to usurp Padma's eatery and home. Padma helps Kavita, who is about to give birth to a daughter, seek justice. A man discusses a deal with Bhagwati, who then calls Kanti.

Gopal seeks Bhagwati's help by telling her a lie. At Bhagwati's advice, Kanti tries to vacate Padma's eatery, where he encounters Sneha once again. Meanwhile, Sarla calls Bhagwati to the temple.

Bhagwati arranges Kanti's marriage with Sarla's daughter. Sneha also comes to the temple, and Kanti mistakes her for his future wife. Padma recalls the inhuman actions of her husband.

Shanta is troubled by her husband's actions. Sneha decides to fight against Gopal and Rajeshwari. Rajeshwari forces Gopal to vacate Padma's house. Later, Chandru arrives at Padma's house.

Padma goes to Rajeshwari's house to fix everything, but recalls her promise to Sneha. Sneha takes Kanti's motorcycle and sets out to find Padma. Bhagwati sees her on the bike and calls Kanti.

Sneha drops Padma home and takes Kanti's motorcycle to the police station. Chandru comes to take Vasudha home, but Bhagwati insults him publicly. Kanti visits the police station to retrieve his bike.

Rajeshwari visits Padma's house at night and threatens her. At the jewellery store, Chandru's mother and Bhagwati get into an argument. At the eatery, Sneha speaks ill of Bhagwati in front of Kanti.

Sahana serves Murli, Suma's college lecturer, a meal at the eatery and starts liking him. Suma tops her college, and Pursi barely manages to pass. Meanwhile, Rajeshwari sends Gopal to Padma's house.

Gopal tries to yank off the nuptial chain from Padma's neck, but Sneha ousts him from the house. Sarla's daughter Purvi bumps into Kanti, who is taken aback to learn that he is supposed to marry her.

Murli tries to follow Sahana, Sneha and Suma. A drunk Gopal raises a ruckus in front of Bhagwati for not getting his job done. After which, she asks Kanti to get Padma to move out of the house.

Kanti is caught in a dilemma over Bhagwati's orders, and his friends beat up Gopal. Bhagwati, along with Kanti and Vasudha, arrive at the temple to perform a puja while Chandru too brings Sneha there.

Kanti prays for a chance to meet Sneha and she appears before him. Vasudha sneaks away to meet Chandru, but Bhagwati finds them. This leads to an argument with Sneha, and Bhagwati feels insulted.

To please Kanti, Purvi orders food from Padma's eatery. Kali shares a plan with Gopal and Rajeshwari. Later, Bhagwati's family comes to Purvi's house, and Sneha arrives there with the order.

Gopal and Rajeshwari trick Padma and offer her money to vacate the house. Meanwhile, Purvi claims the food ordered from the eatery as cooked by her and asks Sneha to serve it to Kanti.

Padma falls for Gopal and Rajeshwari's trick and takes the money and documents. Kanti reveals that the food is from Padma's eatery, leaving Purvi embarrassed. Kanti tells Vasudha that he loves Sneha.

Padma hides the documents and money given by Gopal and Rajeshwari from Sneha. Kanti is lost in Sneha's memories. Padma comes to return the documents without signing them, and Rajeshwari gets angry.

Kanti sees Sneha with Chandru at a café and follows her. Gopal asks Padma to bring the signed documents. Kali steals the documents and money from Padma, and visits the police along with Sahana.

The inspector gets rude with Padma. Kanti feels that even Sneha has feelings for him. Kali gives Raj Rajeshwari the money, making her happy. Murli leaves new slippers for Sahana at the dining hall.

Padma feels sad about her helplessness. Kanti gets his friends disguised and on the pretext of getting them fed, he visits Sneha at night. Rajeshwari sends Pursi to fetch food from Padma's eatery.

Gopal calls Padma and asks her to sign the documents soon. In the meantime, Sneha asks Chandru to send a warning letter to Gopal and Rajeshwari. At Vasudha's request, Kanti takes her to Chandru.

Kanti takes Vasudha along to help her meet Chandru and feels great upon seeing Sneha. Kali eats at Padma’s eatery without paying. Later, Murli arrives and looks for a chance to speak with Sahana.

Balu informs Padma that he has found a match for Sahana, shocking Murli. As Sneha and Sahana head to the market, Murli follows them. Meanwhile, Purvi looks for a way to spend time with Kanti.

Purvi and Bhagwati argue with Sneha, forcing Vasudha to intervene. As Kanti heads to meet Sneha, Bhagwati pushes him to expedite Padma’s hotel eviction, while Murli heads to the temple to pray.
