Rai's father plans to take his family to Samudra Saikat. Rai also convinces Vikram for the visit. Elsewhere, Surjo gears up to meet Rai. Later, with a rose, he proposes to Rai at the Samudra Saikat.

Rai speaks to Sourjo in private. Meanwhile, her family feels happy to see Sourjo around. Meanwhile, Vikram taunts Rai by calling her rich. She realises that he is miffed and tries to calm him down.

Rai calms Vikram down when his behaviour makes everyone unhappy. Later, Rai's family visits Sourjo's house to discuss their marriage. There, Sourjo's parents hesitate to talk about his younger sister.

Rai's family meets Sourjo's brother and sister-in-law. Her family feels strange on seeing Sourjo's sister, Tia's behaviour. Later, Rai's family keeps faith in Sourjo's family.

Nilu lies to her family that she is going to her friend Jaya's birthday party in Bhawanipore and goes to Raj's birthday party instead. They initially make a fuss about it but later agree to send her.

Vikram panics when Nilu doesn't return home. When Rai visits the parlour, she learns that Nilu has not gone to Jaya's place. The people at the parlour say that Nilu has been often spotted with a man.

Nilu's family gets worried when she doesn't return home at night. When Vikram gets restless about it, Rai calms him down. Later, Nilu manages to find her way out of Raj's place and reach home.

Nilu informs everyone of being in love with a boy and falling into his trap. Meanwhile, Rai supports Nilu in addressing the problem. Later, Rai's two sisters arrange the blessing ceremony.

Rai and Sourjo protest when Dora insults Rai's family at her blessing ceremony. Later, Jaya tells the guests that Nilu returned home late last night. The events make Rai's family uncomfortable.

Sourjo tells everyone that he will not marry anyone other than Rai. Vikram attempts to raise his hand on Mishti during a heated argument. Later, unable to bear the humiliation, Nilu commits suicide.

The family gets shocked to see Nilu's state. When she is taken to the hospital, the doctor says that her condition is stable. Later, when she returns home. Vikram insults her again.

Vikram is hurt when Mishti talks to him explicitly. Meanwhile, Tiklu and Dona object to Sourjo and Rai's marriage. Later, Nilu's father encourages her and asks her to be normal again.

Vikram apologises to Nilu for his behaviour. Rai manages to convince him to sing at the pre-wedding ceremony. Later, Rai's father informs his family about the cancellation of employment extension.

Late at night, Rai and her father share their feelings with each other. The next day, Vikram sings a song on Rai's request. Later, Sourjo, Rai and their close ones dance at the function.

Rai's family learns that she will go for her honeymoon to Switzerland. Rai gets surprised on learning that she will experience such luxury. Her father feels ill during the 'Aiburobhaat' function.

The chest pain of Rai's father increases. Rai's Dadhimangal ceremony begins. Nilu participates in the ritual as well. Later, Rai tells Nilu that Nilu, too, will get married to a boy like Sourjo.

Rai's father feels uneasy. Meanwhile, during the 'Gaye Holud' ceremony, when Dora insults Rai's family, Srot gives her a fitting reply. Later, at the function, the turmeric paste falls on Nilu.

When Srot applies the turmeric paste on Tia without taking her permission, both Dora and she get annoyed. Rai's father goes to the market, but feels uneasy. Later, Rai appears dressed as a bride.

Rai finds her father in a critical condition. She takes Nilu to her room and closes the door. Rai calls Sourjo and asks him if he loves her. Later, she forces Nilu to marry Sourjo.

Nilu reluctantly accepts Rai's order and gets married to Sourjo. Rai pledges that she will take the responsibility of her family. Later, Sourjo gets shocked on seeing Nilu as his bride.

Rai breaks the news of her father's demise to her mother. She decides to work in her father's company and take care of their house. Sourjo tells Rai that she has destroyed her own life.

Sourjo curses Rai that she will never be happy after giving him so much sadness. Vikram blames Rai for their father's death. Later, Mishti supports Rai by speaking about her sacrifice.

Sourjo departs with Nilu from Rai's home. Elsewhere, Dora tells everyone that she won't accept Nilu as her daughter-in-law. Later, the final rites of Rai's father begin.

By holding Nilu's hand, Sourjo brings her inside the house. His mother reluctantly welcomes Nilu. Rai executes her father's funeral. She promises her dead father that she will take care of the family.

Rai completes the last rites of her father. Meanwhile, Sourjo's mother reluctantly blesses Nilu. When Dora insults Nilu by blessing her with imitation jewellery, Sourjo gives her a befitting reply.
