Shakti teaches a good lesson to a goon for misbehaving with Yamuna. Pushpa loses her temper when Meenakshi gets the contract to prepare ‘prasadam’ for the temple. Later, Pushpa humiliates Meenakshi.

Shakti disapproves of Meenakshi’s opinion about Yamuna’s marriage. Shakti beats a thief for stealing her purse but later sympathises with him. Pushpa conspires against Meenakshi.

Ranganayagi refuses when a few villagers approach her to permit them to build an alcohol factory in the village. Meenakshi is aghast when Vetri’s men destroy her mess. Shakti opposes Pushpa.

Sarala discusses Pooja and Vetri’s marriage with Ranganayagi. Accordingly, Ranganayagi calls Vetri to the temple to meet Pooja. However, Vetri spots Shakti at the temple and follows her.

Vetri announces that Shakti will be his future wife. Meenakshi’s troubled past leaves her heartbroken. Shakti learns about Vedavalli, who harasses Shanta’s husband for the interest money.

Shakti seeks Ashok’s help to seek revenge on the goons for creating a ruckus in the mess. Meenakshi fears the worst and hurries to meet Neethimani. Shakti goes in search of Meenakshi

Shakti panics when she sees a corpse but is relieved to see Meenakshi alive. Ranganayagi questions Vetri about the bike, but he lies to her. Later, she gets annoyed upon meeting Ashok.

Ranganayagi humiliates Ashok when he comes to take Saranya. Vetri learns that Shakti has kept his bike at the police station. He dreams that Shakti is professing her love to him.

Meenakshi refuses to vacate the mess despite Pushpa’s threats. Shakuntala Devi speaks ill about Ranganayagi to Shakti. Yamuna sympathises with a starving man.

Saranya is saddened to see Ranganayaki's concern for her future daughter-in-law. Shakthi and Yamuna rejoice as Durga stands first in the college. Neethimani quarrels with Meenakshi for Pushpa.

Shakti beats Neethimani, who tries to take off Meenakshi's ‘thali’. Pooja defends Vetri when Shakti misunderstands him. Vetri is in a fix when he learns that he is going to married to Pooja.

Sangili instigates Neethimani against Ranganayagi. A drunk Neethimani argues with Ranganayagi about Meenakshi’s refusal to vacate the mess. Shakti reassures Meenakshi as she worries about Yamuna.

Meenakshi accepts the condition set by Karthik. Durga helps Neethimani when Vetri's goons attack him, but Shakti stops her. Ashok seeks Shakti’s help to meet Saranya.

Shakti sings at a temple function and this impresses Vetri. Later, she advises Ranganayagi, who tries to hit Saranya for speaking to Ashok. Meenakshi asks Subramaniam to look for a groom for Yamuna.

Neethimani tells Pushpa about the person who rescued him from the goons. Karthik tries to talk to Yamuna, but she avoids him. To impress Vetri, Puja orders food from Meenakshi mess.

Puja brings Shakti home without Ranganayagi’s knowledge. Meenakshi is left stunned when Neethimani and Pushpa threaten her to leave the village. Vetri discovers the truth when he spots Shakti at home.

Vetri is happy as Shakti accept a flower from him. Meenakshi tries to hide the money and the document from Shakti. Later, Meenakshi wakes up startled on seeing a dream.

Yamuna and Meenakshi keep Shakti in the dark that they are going to meet Neethimani. Later, Neethimani threatens Meenakshi, who returns the money and document. Vetri questions Ashok.

Sangili extorts money from Meenakshi. The inspector speaks inappropriately to Meenakshi and Yamuna when they go to file a complaint against Sangili. Shakti thanks Vetri for saving her from a mishap.

Meenakshi hides the truth about her bruises from Shakti. Yamuna discovers that Karthik was awaiting her. Dhadiyaa teases Vetri as he thinks of Shakti.

Amudha awaits Pandian at the income tax office. Pandian asks Amudha to meet Sivagami to settle the bank accounts. Later, Pazhani discovers that Uma is lying to him.

Ranganayaki checks who Sharanya is talking to on the phone. As part of her birthday gift, Vetri takes Sharanya to meet Ashok. Seeing Shakti there by chance makes Vetri happy.

Yamuna tells Meenakshi about Sangli's purpose to visit the mess. Karthik learns that a potential suitor is going to visit Yamuna. Ranganayaki gives a challenge to Shakuntala.

Shakti gives a fitting reply to Pooja for speaking arrogantly. She argues with Ranganayagi for defending Pooja. Karthik faces a turmoil as he is unable to profess his love to Yamuna.

Karthik prays to God to help him unite with Yamuna. Pushpa is infuriated to see the legal notice sent by Shakti. When Manohar visits Yamuna, Vetri assumes that he has gone to meet Shakti.
