Cheekati: Get Ready for Chills Down Your Spine
Cheekati means Dark is an Indian supernatural horror movie that revolves around the small hill station of Sigapurahali, an eerie darkness descending at noon where six men were found dead, seemingly killed by an unseen force. Police arrived to investigate the scene, and Officer Palraj could find no evidence of the cause of death. The climax will answer: Was it a powerful termite or snake bite that ended their lives?
Cheekati Cast
Written and directed by V.Z. Durai. The Cheekati cast consists of Sakshi Choudhary as Regi Chezhiyan, Sundar C as Inspector Chezhiya, VTV Ganesh as Head Constable Kulandhaivel, Sai Dhanshika as Jinn Sila along with other supporting cast members.
Cheekati Movie Plot
In Hill station Sigapurahali at noon, a black determinant is visible walking. Suddenly the hill and the village passed dark. Six guys are killed through an unseen pressure in hora grass, through termite assault and snake bite. Soon after, Police arrive to analyze. Officer Palraj explains to an advanced officer there aren't any lines of proof on the scene of the killings.
The neck bones of all the victims were broken, but no signs or symptoms of a handprint or murder weapon were present. They were all found within 500 metres (1,600 feet) of one another.
Constable Kulandaisamy is summoned to the S.P. Office by Palraj after he continues to examine the crime scene and appears to find a clue. When Constable Kulandaisamy gets to the S.P. Office, he sees a woman attempting to set herself on fire. Kulandaisamy and the female constables help the woman relax. Palraj sets himself on fire.
Soon after, Police officer Chezhiyan, his wife Regina and their daughter Diya relocated to the hill station. Then they decided to go out on a picnic. Unfortunately, Danny, their puppy dog, escapes into the woods. Chezhiyan discloses Danny, but Regina thinks that's a bad sign for a fresh start.
Chezhiyan and his family encounter weird occurrences. Constable Kulandaisamy lets family members relax at a leased house. Chezhiyan observes that all the windows and furniture are made of steel, and Kulandaisamy explains that this is because termites had destroyed all the wooden items.
When Diya explores the new house, she finds a cloth-wrapped mirror. Diya observes the mirror and notices a model covered in fabric moving. When Regina is about to start preparing a meal, Diya is reprimanded for making a tapping noise.
She says the noise is coming from the window, and when she opens it, a large group of crows fly in and startle them both. Regina worries aloud over dinner that the house is surely haunted. Cheziyan makes fun of her and claims that if he can solve the difficult case, it will help him advance in his career. This amazing thriller movie will give you goosebumps.
