Wrong Side Raju: A Driver’s Unfortunate Tryst with Destiny 

The tale unfolds at a checkpoint on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. Police constables are in the process of questioning an elderly man when suddenly, a speeding car smashes into the checkpoint. Tragically, the impact takes the lives of the constables and inflicts severe injuries on the elderly man. Later on, Raju Bambani (played by Pratik Gandhi) arrives at the scene, utterly stunned by the heart-wrenching sight before him. 

Raju leads a dual life: he works as a driver during the day and operates as a bootlegger at night. He aspires to establish his own travel agency with the guidance of his mentor, Patil (Ragi Jani). Raju's job involves chauffeuring Amitabh Shah's (Asif Basra) son, Tanmay (Kavi Shastri), around the city. Raju's sister teaches Garba to Tanmay's friend, Shaily (Kimberley Louisa McBeath), and Raju gradually falls for her. As he shows her around the city, their bond deepens. 

While driving Tanmay, Raju uncovers the strained relationship between Tanmay and his father, along with Tanmay's issues with his business partner, Mark. Raju's growing closeness with Shaily sparks Tanmay's jealousy, prompting him to withdraw his loan guarantee for Raju's travel agency. During Navratri, Tanmay coerces Shaily into leaving with him, threatening to ruin Raju's future if she refuses. Reluctantly, Shaily complies, and Raju follows them on his scooter. The situation takes a tragic turn, leading to an accident that Raju discovers later.

 A police investigation is held where Raju's scooter and illegal liquor bottles were found near the accident scene. The police threaten to charge him under the Prevention of Anti-Social Activities (PASA) Act unless he cooperates in the hit-and-run case. Raju, however, claims to have arrived at the scene after the accident. The police inspector demands a bribe of Rs. 15 lakhs to drop the PASA charges. Raju learns that the injured elderly man, Pritam Parikh (Kenneth Desai), is a regular customer of his. He manages to gather the bribe amount with Patil's help. During the investigation, CCTV footage emerged showing Tanmay driving the car just before the accident.

 Amitabh Shah offers a bribe of Rs. 2 crore to frame Raju for the crime, influenced by threats from Tanmay's business partner, Mark. When the case reaches the court, Pritam Parikh's son, Parth Parikh, agrees to represent Raju. Parth highlights the flawed investigation and the conspiracy against Raju. The court dismisses the charges against Raju, instructing the police to reinvestigate and refile the chargesheet and summon the missing Tanmay.

 Following his acquittal, Raju confides in Parth about the truth. He reveals that Shaily was actually driving the car during the accident, resulting in Tanmay's death. To protect her, they orchestrated a plan involving disposing of Tanmay's body and creating the illusion that he had fled. Raju explains that he took these actions out of self-preservation. Eventually, Raju and Shaily reunite in Paris.
