About the Movie Sanjog: A Tale of Destiny
Sanjog is a romance movie showing the tragic story of a couple, Narain and Yashoda. Having met during his college time, Narain married a village belle Yashoda and started living with Narain’s joint family. This included his elder brothers, Lalitha and Sonu with their son Raju. Over time, Raju and Yashoda become very close. However, one day, Raju is involved in an accident and dies. This leads to complete instability in Yashoda’s mental state in this drama movie.

Sanjog Movie Plot
The plot of the movie revolves around the unfortunate lives of a couple living at a hill station. Yashoda lives in a mental health facility where she is taken care of by her husband Narain. The couple met during Narain’s college education and got married. Living with his brother’s family, Yashoda maintains the house and in the process, gets highly attached to their son, Raju. This attachment grows so much that he also thinks of her as his mother, much to the dismay of his real mother, Lalitha. Some time later, Raju tragically passes away after an accident and this leaves Yashoda in an utter state of shock.

The cast of the movie includes Jeetendra as Narain, Jaya Prada as Yashoda and Asha and Vinod Mehra as Narain’s brother. Bharti Achrekar is seen as Lalita, Asrani as Chandu, Aruna Irani as Sunaina and Yunus Parvez as Lalaji, Chandu’s grandfather. Arvind Deshpande is seen as Narain’s dad with Agha, Goga Kapoor, Renu Joshi and Mini Tabassum as Sonu
The director for the movie is K Vishwanath and P Mallikharjuna Rao is the producer under the label of Bharati International. The music has been given by Laxmikant-Pyarelal with lyrics by Anjaan.
