The Telugu mystery film Rakshasudu's story revolves around conman Masss. Both he and his friend Jettu are con artists. Once, while escaping after a heist, Masss and Jettu meet with an accident and Jettu dies, but Masss somehow manages to survive. Now, he is able to see ghosts and communicate with them; he can see Jettu, who has also become a ghost.
Masss helps ghosts take revenge, but he also takes their help, performs fake exorcisms, and makes money by scaring people.
Soon, Masss meets a Sri Lankan Tamil ghost, Shakthi, his lookalike. Shakthi initially helps Masss in a big heist. Eventually, he seeks help from Masss to take revenge and kill the people responsible for the death of his wife and daughter. As the story progresses, Masss learns that he is Shakthi's son. Masss begins his quest to locate his father's killer. How will Masss take his revenge? Why was his family killed? The storyline of this supernatural film keeps one hooked as the primary protagonist looks for answers.
