Nijam is a Tamil movie that revolves around Venkateswarlu, an intrepid fireman, who lives happily with his wife Shanti and son Seetaram. Once, while he is on duty and busy extinguishing a small fire that has broken out in the marketplace, he catches a local mafia don named Devudu spraying the place with kerosene. When Venkateswarlu protests, Devudu uses his connections to frame the fireman instead.

Nijam Movie Plot
Venkateswarlu is a brave fire department officer who leads a contented life with his wife Shanti and son Seetaram. He is a fearless man commanding the respect of everyone, except a local mafia don named Devudu. One day, there is a fire outbreak at the marketplace and Venkateswarlu is summoned to douse the flames. As he and his co-workers are busy suppressing the fire, Venkateswarlu notices Devudu spraying kerosene around the area in an attempt to destroy the place. Venkateswarlu confronts Devudu, warning him of dire consequences, but the goon has high connections, and he frames the poor fireman instead. Venkateswarlu is thus framed on false charges, and as fate would have it, he dies under mysterious circumstances. Now, it is left to Shanti and Seetaram to avenge the death of their beloved hero.
