Plot of Mod Movie
A young girl Ananya lives with her father and aunt in a remote hill town in the Nilgiris district. Years ago, Ananya‘s mother left home to pursue her dreams. Both father and daughter wait patiently for the mother to return. A local shopkeeper, Gangaram, to whom they owe some debt to, also has a soft corner for Ananya. Ananya's father, the head of the local Kishore Kumar Fanclub, drinks a lot and often sings Kishor Kumar songs to console himself. While her aunt Gayatri runs a restaurant, Ananya runs a watch repair store to make ends meet. A stranger starts coming to her shop every day to repair a waterlogged watch. He claims to be her schoolmate Andy. He also confesses that he had a crush on her since school and waited 10 years to see her. Soon enough, love starts to blossom between Andy and Ananya while they work together to deal with Gangaram’s debt and increasing pressure from a construction company wanting to construct a resort in the area. However, Ananya’s happiness does not last long as she soon finds out Andy’s real identity and deals with the ensuing chaos.
