The Groundbreaking Plot of the Kangaroo Movie
The movie starts with a small boy, aged about 10, named Murugesan and his infant sister whom Murugesan was bringing to Kodaikanal. On reaching there, they were found by a general store owner who took pity on the small children and gave them a place to stay.
Murugesan (Arjuna) grows, becomes a tea-stall owner, and looks like a roughneck. He does not talk too much, shows no emotions toward anyone, and has animalistic behavior.
His sister Azhagu (Sri Priyanka) is the world to him, and he cares for her at such a level that everyone calls him Kangaroo. Azhagu has a friend named Chellam (Varsha Ashwathi) who loves Murugesan.
The negative role in the plot is played by Ticket (Kalabhavan Mani). He wanted Chellam to get into the flesh trade with the help of his sister. Murugesan bashes him for disturbing his sister, and hostility ensues.
Things take turns, and Azhagu marries Mani. Soon after that, Mani falls off the and dies on the spot. Later, Murugesan convinces Azhagu to marry again, and the groom again dies just before the marriage due to electrocution.
The siblings move to another town where Azhagu gets married, but once again, an attempt is made on her husband that leaves her husband severely injured in the hospital. The killer is likewise trying to kill her husband.
