Guru Shishyaru is a Kannada film that tells about the journey of training students and teaching them the importance of teamwork.

The drama movie is about Manohar who tries to save the village school when a con artist tries to take away the villagers' land by winning the yearly Kho-Kho event. Despite having no experience, they train hard and learn the value of teamwork.

Guru Shishyaru Movie Plot

The film portrays the story of Manohar K, a former Kho-Kho national champion who moves to a village to become a PT teacher. The villagers are forced by Rudrappa to give up their land, which belonged to his grandparents. To keep their land, Rudrappa suggests that the school students defeat his players in the yearly Kho-Kho event. The problem is, Manohar and his students have no experience in Kho-Kho, and they had only bought trophies from a sports shop before.

Despite facing many hurdles orchestrated by Rudrappa, Manohar trains the students and teaches them about teamwork. Watch this movie to find out whether they are able to preserve their land and home or if it remains unchanged.

1. The team started shooting in January 2021, and after the lockdown, resumed shooting in Bengaluru.The creative head of the movie, Tharun Kishore Sudhir, ensured that every technician and artiste on the sets were vaccinated.

2. Sharan also has another movie, Avatar Purusha, directed by Suni and produced by Pushkar Films, which will be released in two parts.

3. The movie is bankrolled by Sharan's production house, Laddu Cinemas, and Tharun is venturing into production by co-producing the film under the banner Tharun Kishore Kreatiivez.

3. With a week-long schedule in the outskirts of Bengaluru and a few portions filmed in Kanteerava Studio, the team managed to wrap up shooting for the first half of the movie.
