Darbaan Plot
The story of Darbaan revolves around drama and the role of guilt in a person’s life. Naren Tripathi and his family live in a big, fancy house. Raicharan, the family's servant, has been with them since he was a baby. He grew up caring for Naren's son, Ankul, and the two have a strong bond.
However, when the government takes over the family's business, they have to leave, and Raicharan is left without a job. He goes back to his village and gets married. During this period, we realize that Raicharan considers this lifestyle boring and monotonous. Thus, nothing ever brings him joy.
However, years pass, and one day, Ankul returns and asks Raicharan to take care of his son. Raicharan agrees, but one day the child goes missing and is feared dead. People blame Raicharan, and he is forced to leave. A few years later, Raicharan has a child of his own and raises him as if he was taking care of Ankul's child. But he feels guilty and eventually gives his child to Ankul's family to fill the void left by the missing child.
