Anjali is in love with a budding musician Raja. She confides her feelings to her sister Aarti, who promises to get them married. A pregnant Aarti dies after giving birth to twins due to some complications while delivering. A devastated Anjali is forced to marry Aditya, Aarti’s husband for the sake of the twin children and bid adieu to her lover Raja.
