Aarti and Yash perform their pre-wedding rituals. During the ritual, Payal and Palak sit beside Yash. At that time Ansh arrives and commands Payal and Palak to move aside as he wanted to sit beside his new father. Payal and Yash start fighting. The guests find Aarti strict. They discuss how Yash's late wife, Arpita always had a smiling face and also had better complexion than Aarti. One of the guests finds it surprising that a widow was getting married again. Shobha gets worried thinking how she was going to reveal to Aarti that they had told the Scindia family that Aarti was a widow and not a divorcee. She shares her worries with Satyendra. At that time, Gayatri finds the couple tensed and asks the reason. Gayatri expresses her doubt and asks them why none of Aarti's maternal family members accompanied them to the ceremony. Shobha tells Gayatri that she had informed her before that Aarti was the only daughter of her parents. Aarti overhears their conversation and misunderstands them.
