1. Surya from Baapmanus

Not even a single day goes by without watching television. Before mobiles phones and other gadgets were invented, television was our main source of information, a privilege which people still lack. As addictive as it can be, we need to thank our television sets for bringing forth unbiased information and keeping us entertained with our daily shows. So, on the account of World Television Day, let us have a look at the best TV characters which have made themselves memorable in our minds.

Watching the reruns of Baapmanus wouldn’t be complete without admiring Suyash Tilak’s character in the show. While essaying the lead, Surya, the actor got all the nitty-gritty right. He showed us that good always triumphs over evil and the worth of sharing your privilege with others.

2. Vaidehi from Phulpakhru

In Phulpakhru, Vaidehi bloomed from a docile caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly. This journey wasn’t easy, but Vaidehi’s determination was unstoppable. Supported by her family and friends, Vaidehi overcame every difficulty with vigour and honour.

3. Ajji from Almost Sufal Sampoorna

Spending your whole life with a temperamental man like Appa can teach you a lot. This is why Almost Sufal Sampoorna’s Ajji is our favourite character from the show. We have seen her handle Appa’s anger while doing justice where her husband has wronged. Amidst this, she never loses her calm and wit.

4. Rajveer from Tu Ashi Jawali Raha

It wouldn’t be wrong to say, we have shared a love-hate relationship with Rajveer from Tu Ashi Jawali Raha. Often times, his possessive nature and dominating attitude got on our nerves. However, he redeemed himself by protecting his loved ones with the same determination. We especially admire his entrepreneurial skills and dress sense. Who agrees with us?

5. Meenakshi from Vartul

Meenakshi’s character from Vartul doesn’t need a description. She stands as an icon long after her serial is over. She proved to the audience that a woman’s life isn’t over after she survives a bad marriage. She can stand her ground and be her own fighter without needing anyone by her side.
