1. Anu from Prema Entha Madhuram

Women’s Day is all about celebrating women from all walks of life. When we’re thanking our mothers, sisters, role models and various other world leaders, how can forget the ones mentioned here! Providing us with the much-needed entertainment and motivation, day after day, it is our telly ladies who deserve a loud round of applause. Now that we are talking about it, here are our most-loved female characters, from our favourite Zee Telugu shows.

Our first pick is Anu Paddula from the latest show, Prema Entha Madhuram, played by Varsha HK. Anu may be only 19 years old, but she is deeply rooted in her morals and values. She has a strong set of ambitions and stays focused on it, unlike most teenagers these days.

2. Vagdevi from No 1 Kodalu

Next, we have Sudha Chandran’s character of Vagdevi in No 1 Kodalu. Staying ahead of times is something that we all can learn from Vagdevi. From rebelling out of the house to making her own empire stand out from the crowd, Vagdevi teaches dedication.

3. Mrudula from Ninne Pelladatha

Mrudula from Ninne Pelladatha, played by Madhubala, is yet another strong lady. Through 500+ episodes of the show, Mrudula has always been highly emotional and perfectly strong at the same time. That sounds like an unusual combination, but this is what we all wish to achieve.

4. Vasundhara from Maate Mantramu

For Maate Mantramu’s Vasundhara, played by Pallavi Ramisetty, is one who has seen happy days once in a blue moon. To find a moment when she smiles is as rare as one can imagine. Yet, she finds a way to keep the people around her, and that’s what counts.

5. Dharani from Akka Chellellu

Here’s our ‘Aada Pulli’ as the villain of the show calls her! Chaithra Rai’s role as Dharani in Attarintlo Akka Chellellu wins all hearts, because she checks off all the boxes of a perfect lady that we can think of. She sweet and sassy, innocent, smart and more important, she is confident and intelligent.

6. Sasru from No 1 Kodalu

Actor Madhumita is seen as Sarsu in No 1 Kodalu, a simple and street smart girl from a small town. Unfortunately, Sarsu never stepped inside a classroom but she went around looking for knowledge and proved to be a gem, just like her villagers say, “Sarsu bangaram“.

Let us discuss more about our favourite telly ladies in the comments section below. Don’t forget to check out all your favourite shows on ZEE5, before they air on TV.
