Let’s face it. Who doesn’t like clear, glowing skin that will make you feel radiant from both inside and out? When we watch the popular Telugu serial Muddha Mandaram, despite all the drama, we can’t but stare at the flawless skin of actor Thanuja Gowda, who plays the character of Soundarya. Want dazzling, clear skin like her? Simply follow these inti chitkalu and flaunt yours too.

Your granny was right. Turmeric comes with strong anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which increases the production of collagen. As a result, your skin becomes soft and glowing. Mix some turmeric with gram flour and water or milk to make a paste and apply it on your skin. Leave for 15 to 20 minutes and wash your face. Gram flour is a good cleanser that makes your skin look bright.

Coconut Oil


Coconut oil works like magic on skin that is dry and dull by sealing the moisture in the skin. It also nourishes your skin with the essential fatty acids. It also works as an antioxidant. The result? Glowing skin. Warm some and massage on the face and neck daily before going to sleep. Wash in the morning.



When life gives you lemons, rub them on your face. Lemon is an excellent natural bleaching agent and also helps get rid of tan. You can cut a lemon into half and rub it on your face in circular motions. Or you can mix lemon juice with sugar and apply it on your face. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash off with warm water.



Love eating papayas? Now use them on your face. A ripe papaya has an enzyme called papain which works as an exfoliating agent. It removes dead cells and leaves you with glowing skin. Not just that, it also rids your skin of oil and dirt and reduces chances of getting acne. Cut a ripe papaya and rub it on your face to get radiant skin.



Don’t just apply it on your toast. Honey is good for your skin too. With antimicrobial properties, honey can clean your skin and make it soft. It also has high amounts of antioxidants which help reduce blemishes. Wash your face and apply some honey on damp skin. Massage and leave on the face for five minutes before washing off. You’ll be surprised to see the glow on your face.
