Named ‘The Deverakonda Fund’, he aims to employ at least a lakh youngsters in his lifetime. After months of hard work, his team reached out to 650 people from rural areas and trained 120 of them to hone their skills. The first batch of 50 people are now ready for employment after the crisis resolves.

He also pledged Rs 1 Cr and promised that his team and he will put extra efforts in ensuring that they tackle the employment crisis. An extension to this project is the ‘Middle Class Fund’ which aims to provide immediate needs to people who genuinely need help in meeting their daily necessities. Given the overwhelming response from Kartikeya and many of his fans, Vijay thanked everyone. He shared a report to promise that the fund will now be able to help 4000 families. On the professional front, Vijay will be seen next in Puri Jagannadh’s Fighter, alongside Bollywood actor Ananya Panday.
