Vettai Season 1 Episode 65, 66 Written Update: Chief Dayanithi’s Killer Revealed

In the previous episode of Vettai, Bose rushes to help Nanda’s mother Vatsala on seeing her health condition. Later, Bose offers Vatsala money when he learns that the latter is not taking treatment because of her financial condition. But Nanda’s mother lashes out at him as she misunderstands Bose’s intentions. When Bose apologises to Vatsala, she reveals all her sufferings and molestation incidents. He castrates Mahendran for the inhumanity meted out to Vatsala. Bose and Vatsala go for a live-in relationship. Bose accepts Nanda as his son.

When Nanda grows up, Bose tries to persuade him to join the police force as he wants Nanda to be his informer and help him with his illegal business. Initially, Nanda refuses but later agrees to join the police force when his sick mother convinces him. Nanda goes abroad for further studies. Later, Bose informs Nanda about Vatsala’s demise on his return. Nanda joins the police force and becomes one of the best cadets.

In the new (65) episode, Nanda’s former Chief gets a tip-off about the drug smugglers.  Nanda informs his team about the same. He also informs Bose that his team is keeping a close watch on him. When the team comes to nab Bose and his gang, he cleverly tricks them. Further, Bose expresses his gratitude to Nanda for alerting him. He also warns Nanda to stay away from Aarti. But Nanda tells Bose that he loves her and that he will never tell Aarti about their illegal work.

Aarti volunteers for an undercover mission, so, Nanda keeps a close watch on Aarti as she tries to nab a thief. When Aarti is trapped by the thief, she tackles it smartly. However, Nanda, who is unable to see Aarti in pain, rushes to save Aarti but till then the thief slits Aarti’s throat. She instantly dies. Nanda takes six months break from his work to get over Aarti’s death. Bose is upset with Nanda’s decision, but he does not force the latter to work.

In episode 66, it is revealed that Dayanithi is Nanda’s biological father. He was already married but had an extramarital affair with Vatsala. One day, Dayanithi suddenly tells Vatsala that he can’t be in a relationship with her. Then Vatsala argues with Dayanithi and the latter further finds it as a reason to break ties with her. He also refuses to accept Nanda and Vinod as his sons. While the two have a heated argument, Nanda screams as he notices that his brother has accidentally passed away. Vatsala immediately rushes to her son Vinod but it was too late.

While Vatsala begs for Dayanithi’s help, the latter walks away, saying that they are no more his responsibility. Then Nanda seeks revenge from Dayanidhi for Vinod’s death and ruining Vatsala’s life. He calls Dayanithi to an isolated place, with an intention to kill. But he changes his mind when Dayanithi asks for forgiveness. However, later Nanda realises that Dayanithi was pretending to be sorry while he actually intended to kill Nanda so that his image is not ruined. Before Dayanithi could shoot Nanda, the latter stabs him to death. Stay tuned.
