Vettai Season 1 Episode 41 Written Update: Shan Gets Suspended After Pravin’s Escape

In the previous episode of Vettai, Seelan tells Regina about his decision to divorce Manju and their argument. But he criticises Regina when she refuses to marry him. Later, Ramya reads out a letter written by Radha, in which she mentions Shan and Nanda.

Seelan introduces Suganya (the replacement of Radha) to the team. Prakash and Mugi find a lead after watching the DVD (sent by Pravin) once again. They then inform Seelan about Pravin’s whereabouts. Shan, who overhears their conversation, decides to go and nab Pravin alone.

In tonight’s episode, Seelan, Mugi, Prakash and Suganya reach the crime spot to nab Pravin, they realise that the killer has already escaped and they see Shan there. When Seelan learns that they lost the chance to arrest Pravin because of Shan, the former suspends him. Elsewhere, Pravin recollects his childhood days.

He remembers how his mother ill-treated him and his stepfather Aasirwadam. He recalls that his mother was very dominating and left no chance to insult Aasirwadam. She had even slapped Aasirwadam in front of the guests and revealed to them that he is impotent. After this incident, Aasirwadam commits suicide. How did Pravin cope with his stepfather’s death?
