Vettai Season 1 Episode 1 Written Update: Nanda Is Stabbed By A Criminal

The story revolves around Dayanidhi’s death. An elite unit assembled to tackle old cases pertaining to the Indian community and Indian immigrants picks up Dayanidhi’s case to find his murderer. Scroll below to read the written update for the first episode of Vettai.

In the first episode, we are introduced to all the characters – Vettai, Mugilan, Shanmugham, Nanda, Seelan and Radha, who work in a special task force in Singapore. This elite unit has been assembled to unravel unsolved cases related to the Indian immigrant community, which the police force is unable to crack. It begins with Mugilan and his gang get a tip-off and they immediately head for the mission, risking their lives. But they discover that it is a false alarm and inform their Chief about it. However, he yells back at them as he feels that they are questioning his source.

Later, the Chief gets another tip-off and also receives information that one of his team members is a traitor. However, he does not believe his source. The Chief then asks his team to get ready for another mission. The members of the team set out to arrest the drug dealers. Just as they were trying to nab them, Nanda gets stabbed by one of the criminals. Radha panics and asks her team for help. Will Nanda will be able to reach the hospital on time?

The series, starring Shabir, Sathish, Gunala and Gayathiri Segaran in the pivotal roles, is a crime-drama based on real-life cases from Singapore.
