Sources claim that the Yogi government is against promoting any Mughal structure and so it is not printing the Taj Mahal’s picture in their tourism ads.

The Taj Mahal, which is one of the world’s seven wonders, and the most visited tourist hubs in Uttar Pradesh has gone missing from the state government’s tourism advertisement. The tourism poster of Uttar Pradesh does not have a picture of the Taj Mahal on it. According to the sources, this isn’t the first time that the state government has made this error. In the year, 2017, the Uttar Pradesh government did not print the picture of the Taj Mahal in their tourism booklet either. Reports claim that these moves are done intentionally. According to the news reports, the Yogi Adityanath government is against promoting any Mughal structure and so it is not printing the Taj Mahal in their tourism ads and booklets.

The Yogi Adityanath government has also changed names of several areas in the state and is continuously promoting historic and religious sights that glorify Hindu culture.
