On Monday, September 14, the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh made a big decision. Uttar Pradesh CM has renamed the Mughal Museum in Agra to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum. According to news reports, the decision was taken by Yogi Adityanath during a review meeting with officials of Agra. After the meeting, the Chief Minister informed about this decision through his Twitter account. Explaining his decision to rename the museum, Yogi Adityanath said that the Mughals always encouraged slavery and exploitation of the poor. Such ideologies cannot be encouraged in Uttar Pradesh. Hence, the government has decided to rename the museum to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was courageous, brave, and an excellent administrator.

Further, he even raised the question of how our heroes can be Mughals. Our brave warriors have sacrificed their lives for this land and so they deserve all the love and respect from us, he asserted.
