It seems the Uttar Pradesh Police force is failing continuously to curb the increasing crime rate in the state. According to the latest news reports, a businessman named Ashish Sahu who was carrying cash worth Rs 2.4 lakh was robbed on national highway 24. The robbers threatened Sahu with weapons and fled from the spot as soon as they got the money. The victim alleged that the police did not cooperate with him at first but when the incident went viral on social media the concerned authorities started taking necessary steps.

The policemen told the reporters that Sahu is a grocery shop owner who was travelling to Lucknow to buy material for his shop. Suddenly some robbers with guns came on a bike and robbed all the cash from him. The police have begun the investigation and assured that the robbers will be arrested as soon as possible.
