In a data privacy lawsuit filed in the US, users have accused the tech giant of keeping a record of their activity even after they followed the company’s recommended settings for stopping such monitoring. This is the second data privacy lawsuit against Google in the recent months.
Sources also state that Google uses software to monitor user activity and it is also alleged that the use of firebase is used to store users data. Firebase activities are not visible to users. After all these accusations, the tech giant has decided to fight back against all the claims. Google’s competitors Oracle and Facebook have also been named as defendants in this lawsuit.
