US Supreme Court Gives Split Opinions On Donald Trump’s Tax Records

Donald Trump has decided not to reveal any of his tax records and described the courts ruling as a hoax and a political witch-hunt.

In a major verdict, the US Supreme Court has delivered split opinions in two cases over whether President Donald Trump can shield his investment records from investigators or not. It also stated that the New York District Attorney can seek Trump’s tax records. The court has rejected the President’s total immunity while in office. On the other hand, Trump has decided not to reveal any of his tax records and described the ruling as a hoax and political witch-hunt. He further added that this was just political persecution.

According to sources, it is very unlikely that President Donald Trump will release his tax records anytime before the November elections. Commentators also stated that he will be majorly focusing on uplifting the economy which has been badly hurt due to the pandemic. Secondly, the President will be also preparing for the upcoming elections, so his finances won’t be released anytime soon.
