Popular actor, Shriya Saran has joined hands with a foundation that aims to help COVID-19 victims. Shriya will be driving the donation by doing this.
The current times are testing, and none can deny that. Of course, most of us are privileged and safe within the four walls of our homes. Despite our attempts to flatten the curve, more and more people are falling prey to the novel coronavirus. When a crisis strikes, our celebrities try and put their best feet forward to help the ones in need. Today, Shriya Saran has done something similar.

Shriya made an announcement earlier today which has people feeling excited again. The actor announced her alliance with a foundation that is helping the people who are heavily affected due to the deadly virus. In an attempt to encourage people and raise donations, Shriya came up with an interesting and exciting approach. The fans and followers can have a dance or a yoga session with the actor, during these low times. All they have to do is donate Rs. 200 towards the fund.
The competition will go on for a week and entering the competition is as easy as donating money and sharing the receipt via email. Shriya will pick two lucky winners from the lot. They can together have a virtual session, where Shriya is all game to do whatever the lucky winners would like to do. In her words, “two lucky winners a chance to dance, do some yoga, or whatever floats your boat to brighten up your quarantine.”

At a time when people can easily become couch potatoes, Shriya’s little assignment seems to be a good idea to keep people on their toes. Currently, Shriya is living in Spain with her husband Andrei Koscheev. Recently, the actor shared that she lived in self-quarantine within the house when her partner showed symptoms of the virus. However, the “worst is behind us”, affirmed Shriya.
