A recent news report from United Arab Emirates (UAE) states that the area near Al Dhafra airbase experienced three missile drops. This incidence has caused a lot of hustle and bustle in Dubai. Sources state that these missiles were launched by Iran during the trial and testing process. A high alert has been announced in several parts of the country. After the drop of missiles, the Iranian Government immediately cleared that they were dropped unintentionally during the trials.
The Indian Rafale fighter jets which are on their way to India from France were halted in Dubai when this incident happened and therefore, it sparked even more controversies. However, after the Iranian Government gave a clear explanation about the incident, the situation is under control. As a safety protocol, UAE has still beefed up security in nearby areas of the airbase.
