Tejashwi Yadav Slams Nitish Kumar Government Over Handling of COVID-19 And Floods
The Bihar government has become “invisible,” said the former Deputy Chief Minister.
In a major attack against the ruling Nitish Kumar government ahead of the polls in the state, Tejashwi Yadav has slammed it for its poor handling of the COVID-19 crisis and the recent floods that have ravaged some parts of the state. He said that the state government has turned “invisible”, while alleging that it doesn’t care about people dying and is only interested in saving its chair. There are currently more than 100 containment zones in Patna alone.
“The governance in Bihar is absurd,” said Tejashwi Yadav. “The Nitish Kumar government’s work is such that a man who hadn’t done a COVID-19 test has been declared positive for the virus. On the other hand, people who’ve got themselves tested haven’t received their reports yet. Isn’t this absurd?” He later highlighted that while people are waiting for days for their results, the Chief Minister’s test results are coming out in two hours.
