Taapsee Pannu Is Grateful To Jaya Bachchan For Supporting Bollywood Against Drug Allegations
Taapsee applauded Jaya Bachchan for hitting the nail on the head and standing up for Bollywood in her parliament speech
Following Jaya Bachchan’s strong speech in support of the Bollywood industry in the monsoon session of the Parliament, actress Taapsee Pannu has applauded the veteran actress for standing up.
In a tweet, Pannu said that another woman stands up to all the wrong being said about the cinema world. Speaking to a channel exclusively, she further added that she is grateful to the senior actress and Member of Parliament (MP) for hitting the nail on the head by not only saying the words that no one could verbalise yet, but also corroborating them with facts.
According to the Thappad star, generalising the drug problem and projecting the entire film fraternity as a unit in need of cleansing is wrong. Elaborating that no business is totally idealistic, she said that every member should not be linked to the narcotics world.
On Kangana’s nonstop insults on Taapsee, the latter said that she is no longer affected by the Manikarnika actress’s actions or words.
On being asked why the A-lister men of Bollywood are still not speaking out, Taapsee said she is also waiting for the same. She also believes that within the industry, only a handful believe in certain extremist political options, while the rest of the force stands together.
Finally, on the Rhea Chakraborty matter, the Badla heroine said that she couldn’t help herself from speaking out for Rhea after seeing her ill-treatment and unfair trial by the media and online trolls.
