Rakul Preet Singh

Diwali is not just a day to pick up your phones and send a broadcast wishing everyone on your contact list. Long before Diwali, we all get into the festive spirit and await the five-day-long celebration. This festive season, make sure you put your best put forward and turn yourself into a glamazon!

We picked this look from the glam-queen Rakul Preet Singh that seems to be the perfect attire for Day one of the festive season, on the occasion of Dhanteras. An elegant white lehenga with minimal ivory print with a suave white strap-top paired with a regal magenta shawl completes her look. To this, she added a silver choker. And man! This the perfection we plan on achieving this season.

Kajal Agarwal

Day 2 of Diwali is Naraka Chaturdashi. Most people will either be celebrating it simply by visiting people or hosting small poojas and get-togethers. On this day, you can tone down on the glam quotient and go simple and still turn heads around like Kajal Agarwal‘s look here.  classic pink and green combo, with a long kurta and palazzo with a chiffon dupatta. Let your mane sway with the breeze, dab on some chic lip tint and voila! Homegrown diva’s ready to take on the world.

Regina Cassandra

Day 3 of Diwali is the main festival. And as much as you try, there is no escape from the traditional outfit. So, while you are at it, you might as well do it well. Here, Regina Cassandra opts for a colourful pink and purple pattucheera with traditional accessories and a sleek hairdo. Although she has added a haaram and kammagunnalu, you can keep it simple with a few bangles and an elegant neckpiece. Of course, there are more ways to style your saree. Check it out here.

On Day 4 of Diwali, which is the Balipadyam, we believe you can take some liberty and incorporate a little bit of contemporary to your traditional fashion. It’s even better when you can subsume some traditional fashion to your contemporary style like Samantha does it here. If you look closely, her outfit consists of white palazzo pants with a white crop top to which she has added a white dupatta with the help of a bronze brooch at the centre. A pair of beige flat sandals and some funky earrings complete her look. BRB. It’s time to put together a look, asap!

Day 5 of Diwali is a great day for us girls! Because of the loads of gifts, celebrations and a whole lot of pampering. For this day, Tamannaah’s red Sharara with nothing else but simple traditional hoop earrings seems like the perfect attire. It’s classy, it’s red and it’s a statement in itself. So, go and get your suitcase of traditional clothes out again. Because this festive season, we go all out and we do it right!
