Sushant Singh Rajput Death: ED Interrogates Rhea Chakraborty Again

Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has reached the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai once again today to record her statement in the money laundering case lodged against her and her family. Just like on Friday, she was joined by her brother Showik Chakraborty, but there were two new parties – Rhea’s father Indrajit Chakraborty and her former manager Shruti Modi. Their statements are being recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The actress stands accused of abetting Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, via an FIR filed by the Bihar Police, based on a statement recorded by his father. The case was recently transferred to the CBI by the Bihar government. However, the case also continues to be probed by the Mumbai Police, which has questioned several bigwigs from the film industry till now. The names include Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra and Shanoo Sharma, among others.
