Amidst the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, Member of Parliament (MP) Nishikant Dubey from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded a CBI-NIA (National Investigation Agency) inquiry for the same. While talking to sources, the MP from the Godda constituency in Jharkhand said that he does not wish to drop the morale of any police force, but he thinks that the Mumbai Police is not equipped enough to investigate the kind of forces that dominate the Hindi film industry.

The BJP MP further urged Home Minister, Amit Shah to form a Special Investigative Team (SIT) to look into the suicide case.
