Sushant Singh Rajput: Bihar Advocate General Accuses Mumbai Police Of Non-Cooperation
The Advocate General said Rhea Chakraborty’s request to transfer case to Mumbai is baseless.
As the Mumbai Police continues its investigation into the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, a war of sorts seems to be emerging between Maharashtra and Bihar. Now, the Advocate General of Bihar, Lalit Kishore, has accused the Mumbai Police of not cooperating with the Bihar Police Team which has come to the city to further their investigations. This situation has arisen because Sushant’s father, KK Singh has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakroborty in Patna.
Bihar’s Advocate General, Lalit Kishore, said, “Sushant’s father had lodged his statement in the Rajiv Nagar Police Station, on the basis of which, the police registered an FIR. Following this, officials from the police station reached Mumbai. Amidst all this, they found out that Rhea Chakraborty has filed a petition in the Supreme Court saying that the FIR had been registered outside the applicable premises and that only the Mumbai Police has the authority to investigate it. And this way, she wants to transfer the case to Mumbai and restrain the Patna Police.”
