Surat Bakery Dedicates 771-Kg Cake to Corona Warriors On PM Modi’s Birthday

Cake was distributed to charity organizations after it was cut in a ceremony.

A bakery in Surat made a cake weighing 771 kilograms to celebrate the birthday of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. The bakery has dedicated this cake to the Corona Warriors and had hence made designs and edible prints regarding the same. Breadliner is the name of the bakery, which has made the cake. A cutting ceremony was held digitally and respecting social distancing norms, only seven doctors were invited to the ceremony.

Nitin Patel, who owns the Surat bakery and who organized the event, said “The cake cutting ceremony on PM’s birthday was held while maintaining social distancing and all necessary precautions. At the event, seven corona warriors were also present. The cake has images of corona warriors, be it media, police, plasma donors and doctors. To ensure social distancing, we will be organising a digital event as well.” After cutting the cake, it was distributed among charity organizations to ensure no wastage took place.
