1. Hydrate

The scorching heat can cause damage to our skin and even hair. Fruits and hydrating elements in our diet are the key to better skin and hair and water also plays an important role in maintaining the quality of both. The most affected regions in our hair due to the harsh heat are the scalp and roots. The sweat helps in keeping the scalp moist but in turn, makes the hair brittle and worsens its quality. But Marathi actress Prajakta Gaikwad doesn’t have to worry about that as she has glossy and shiny long black hair! So if you wish to have good quality hair like the Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji actress, here are a few tips that you can follow.

Watch an episode from the show Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji in which Prajakta played the role of queen Yesubai.

The most important part of a hair care routine is hydration. Though you may not be stepping out in the sunlight due to the ongoing lockdown, the heat can still affect the quality of your hair. Try to drink about 8-10 glasses of water per day as this will automatically help in hydration and thus improve the texture of your hair.

2. Use hair masks

You can also make your hair glossier with hair masks made of egg white, honey, curd, etc! These herbal masks will help in nourishing the dead pores of your hair and make them look healthier. Try a simple egg-white mask for about 20 minutes and be astonished with the results!

3. Use oil

Never forget to use the oil regularly. You can oil your hair twice a week and keep it overnight before washing it away. The oil helps in nourishing and also boosts the growth of your hair. Castor oil, almond oil, and coconut oil are very effective.

4. Tie your hair the right way

We often tie our hair in tight buns to keep them away from our faces. This might help but it results in breakage and can create bald spots over time. Tie your hair loosely in braids to keep them secure, and along with this, you can use pins to keep the tendrils in place.

5. Wash your hair regularly

Wash your hair regularly as the dirt, grime, and sweat can increase breakage. Even if you have long hair, try to wash them three times a week. If you sweat a lot and work out regularly, you can switch to a daily hair wash routine.
